Shovels and Corinth

Whether it's delusion or optimism, I consistently think I'll get more work done in the week following vacation than I actually accomplish. So this week has been shoveling out and a little bit of planning for 2017. Of course, that just accounts for the time I set aside each week for project planning.  Most of my time this week has been given to preparing for our new sermon series on 1 Corinthians. I think you'll really enjoy it.

What happens when a church loses its focus on the crucified, resurrected Jesus? How is their community affected? How does it blind them to the encroaching worldliness of the culture around them? What if that church is a church that Paul planted and spent a year and a half pastoring?

Come this Sunday as we start to answer some of these questions.
