When folks visit our worship service, we like to give them a Welcome Packet that includes some information that will help them get to know us better as a church. So that you can have that same opportunity online, we've put most of the contents of our Welcome Packet here on our website. Click on the tabs to the left to find out more about aspects of our church that interest you.
First Time Here?
Welcome to Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church! We're glad you've stopped by our website. I encourage you to take a look around. We've tried to provide some information to let you know what we're about and how you can get involved.
We are a church plant of the Presbyterian Church in America. What are we about? Simply put, we're about Jesus. His person and work are at the center of what we do. We believe that the Bible is a testimony of God's plan to redeem our fallen world through him. Interested? We'd love for you to come join us and find out more.
Why a new church in Culpeper? That's a great question. We are here for three types of people. The first group of people brought us here. They are folks who have been in PCA churches in the past but have since moved to Culpeper where—up until now—there has not been one. The second group of people are folks who gave up on church a long time ago for a number of reasons. We want to be your "second chance" church. The thirdgroup of people are those who aren't Christians at all. We want to be a safe place where you can come, listen, ask questions, get answers, and consider the claims of Jesus in an environment that respects your doubts and concerns.
Do you fall into one of those categories? Is there a category I missed? Either way, we'd like you to come one Sunday and try us out.
We meet for worship at 10:30 AM at Culpeper Christian School (810 Old Rixeyville Road.) We meet in the gym, so come around to the back of the building. Come early for fellowship and coffee. Dress is casual and a nursery is available.
As you may have already heard, Old Rixeyville Road is undergoing construction that will continue for the foreseeable future. Don't worry, we will still have our Sunday service, but you may need to adjust how you arrive at the school. You must approach Culpeper Christian School from the north because Old Rixeyville road is completely closed south of Culpeper Christian School. As you near the church you will see signs telling you the road is closed excepting local traffic. Go ahead and proceed to the school as we fall into the category of local traffic. You will need to go into the left lane to go around the roadwork, so drive carefully! This construction will be going on for many months so please don't let it keep you from attending Sunday's worship service.
